Stephanie Harper’s multi-award-winning art combines her passion for organic creation with a unique outlook on the beauty of life everywhere. Harper’s original designs rely on finding the spectacular in everyday objects. She desires to protect the Earth by reusing discarded items. Her dedicated creative process involves finding a new vision and purpose for them. She painstakingly—and joyfully—uses these items to create and enhance her original designs with colors, shapes, and sheer brilliance. In this way, Harper quietly promotes awareness of consumerism, as well as making deep, personal statements concerning the things that humans love about life and culture.Among Harper’s most recent awards is a first-place position at the Urban Arts Festival, hosted through Utah Arts Alliance, for her mosaic of a Utah Utes flag at sunset. She also won the mosaic art contest at the Foothills Art Center in Golden, CO. Harper’s art affirms her belief that life is a mosaic of everything we do every day, everything we see, and everything we love.
